Joanne Alderton

Managing Partner & Jack of all Trades

Before establishing Aldertons in 2015, Joanne worked all over the world in the tourism sector. Originally moving to Spain in 1995 – she also had a very successful commercial property career based in the UK for a number of years.In 2013 after deciding as a family to make the permanent move to settle in the glorious Marina Alta region of Spain to enable their young children to grow up submerged in the wonderful Mediterranean climate and lifestyle, it made sense to Jo & Andrew to combine her tourism experience along with her property knowledge and the Aldertons ethos was born!Fluent in Spanish and qualified in Spanish Immigration, Movement and Nationality, Jo is proud that Aldertons have now helped over 2500 people to find their perfect home, relocate, or purchase their vacation home in Spain; understandably she feels very smug that she gets to play a part in their ‘happily ever after’ and firmly believes that she has the best team in the business for all things property & immigration iin the Northern Cost Blanca region of Spain.

Andrew Alderton

As Joanne’s husband – Andrew has been fully involved in the business since the very beginning. Moving to the Benissa Coast in 2013 with Joanne and their two daughters, Andrew initially commuted between Spain and the UK where he worked as the Brand Training Manager. Having decided he was missing out on his daughters early years, as a family they decided that Andrew would give up his commute between the two countries, and move to join his family as a permanent member of The A Team. In Andrew’s own words “It’s the best decision I ever made”. He now pulls on all of his training and brand experience to ensure Aldertons customers receive the highest level of customer service, his area of speciality is ensuring the post property purchase concierge service runs smoothly. He is also our office tea-boy, top scorer in the local walking football team and absolutely loving his Spanish life! Emma Peta Jones

Bureau Manager & Font of All Knowledge

Having moved to Spain whith her family when she was a child, Emma studied at the renowned Lady Elizabeth School in the Costa Blanca North and has kept up great relationships with the school enabling us to process the residency applications and property searches for their staff and many of their parents alike. Qualified in Spanish Immigration, Emma is an invaluable member of our A Team, to date she overseen the process of circa 3000 residency applications and visas and driving license exchanges, whilst simultaneously managing to overcome a broken back and bring herself back to a fitness level which the rest of the team can only dream of. Passionate about horses, her dog Uli and her cat Spike – Emma can more often than not be found hiking, scuba diving, running or training for her next marathon – oh, and she is also qualified in conveyancing and auctions so is always on hand to oversee our clients chosen solicitors are doing their job correctly! Emma is a veritable font of all knowledge and we are truly lucky to have her on our A Team.

Kate Evans

Agency Manager & 5* Rental Host

Kate is an invaluable member of the A Team. Having grown up in Spain and attended local public school along with being Mum to 2 young ladies – themselves in the education system here at differing stages – she is the perfect person to assist our families in moving to and settling here and can speak from first hand experience about the schooling system and life here for children; she is a mine of information and is always happy to wax lyrical about her experiences – so much so that she has a special sign on her desk asking people not to talk to her as she will talk for hours and get no work done!! Kate is reponsible for the smooth running of both our property sales & vacation businesses. She will often be seen whizzing about the Marina Alta with extra pillows or baby cots to ensure our vacation clients are kept happy, or up a tree to ensure the best angle for a property photo. Oh and did we mention that she’s fully registered as a property agent here in Spain , and qualified in Spanish Immigration. We couldn’t be without her – she’s amazing – and her life goal is to never be seen as ‘average’. We certainly know she is in a league of her own.

Stephanie Casper

Customer Support & Superwoman

Stephanie has lived in Spain for over 15 years, originally residing in Tenerife and now to the lovely town of Benichembla, within the Jalon Valley; where she runs a beautiful B&B with her cycling mad husband and their crazy French Bulldog ‘Pepe’.
Stephanie is our Residency & DGT expert, not only assisiting Emma with all the residency & visa enquiroes and processes but she is the lasy who will assist with your vehicle importations, driving license exchanges or insurance searches. She is qualified in Spanish Immigration and fluent in German, French, English and Spanish you couldn’t have a better assistant on your side.Stephanie has an amazing ability to get her head down and get on with the job… somehow she is able to block out the noise and constant chatter (usually coming from Kate!) and is able to ‘just get on with it’ – we are all in awe of this superpower! You should also know that Stephanie is our resident baker and we are all addicted to her cake creations..
